Here I come with my own tutorial about how to implement Google Custom Search on your blog.This tutorial is for Adib and for those who are still do not know how to implement Google Custom Search.If you are ready then let start it.

Part A

First of all, to implement Google Custom Search on your blog you need Google Custom Search account.If you do not have it you can register to get your account.If you are already registered with Google Custom Search you can sign in to you account and you can see your a page like below

Click New Search Engine on the left side.Just type in the basic information.Then, choose “Only Sites I Select”.This is because we want only our blog appear for the search results.Type in you blog address on the text form for the “Sites to search”.For example if your blog is www.tebaboom.org then type in www.tebaboom.org.Then select the “Standard Edition”.We can make money if we choose “Standard Edition”.

After you click Next button, it will bring you to Preview page.You can try to search something by using your own keywords.If there is no problem then click Finish button.You can choose either you want the confirmation email from Google or not.Just check or uncheck to do so.

Part B

Here we come for Part B.Go to Overview and you can your search engine.Quickly click on Control Panel then click Code.Here is the most important step.You must choose “Result Host results on a non-Google site” and pick “iframe – requires two pages: one for the search box and another for the results”.

Type in your blog address which is you want the search results to appear.

Example: http://www.yourblog.com/search-result

Choose where you want the advertising to be placed either right, top and right or top and bottom.Copy the seach box code and paste in on your sidebar or wherever you want.Then, copy the search result code.

Part C

Create a new page for you blog.Just type in whatever you want for the page title but if you want to look more nicely just type in Search Result.Make sure the post slug is “search-result”.
