Our Malaysia First Astronaut, Dr Sheikh Muszaphar now in the space with Russian Soyuz TMA-11 which blasted off from Baikanur in Kazakhstan at 9.21 P.M.Dr Sheikh Muszaphar, 35, has been named as part of the three-member first crew for the Soyuz 15-S mission alongside Yuri Malechencko from Russia and American Peggy Whitson, while Kapt Dr Faiz, 27, is a member of the second crew with Michael Fincke from the United States and Russian Sharizan Sharipov.
Well.I hope Dr Sheikh Muszaphar will return to Earth safely and share all his experiences with all Malaysians.I am really proud to be Malaysian.Now Malaysia have astronaut and after this I hope Malaysia will have more scientists, physicians, and people who love science and mathematics.This is what we called “fardu kifayah” because we all can get the benefits at the same time.
